Re: Why do some (not all) BKs lose their friends?

I cannot think of a single friend that I have lost in 24 years of BK life but I got many new ones. I never tried to convert any of them to my beliefs. All my friends are idealists like me. Most are vegetarians and do not drink alcohol. None of them is bothered that I do not eat onions or that I wake...

Re: Brahma Kumaris training in production of pure milk?

What is meant by "pure milk"? When I was in Madhuban in March I met with people of the Rural Wing. It seems to me to be a sincere effort to help the farmers and villagers improving the quality of their life. Of course they will be trying to sell some BK Gyan as well but they are really helping them...

Re: What price morning class?

And how many are benefiting from the £518,000 other charitable expenditures?

And we have no idea of how much cash donations do not even show up in the numbers.

Re: What price morning class?

Who knows how much of the total income is from donations from the 450 regular students? What are Incoming Resources from Charitable Activities and Other Incoming Resources ? Does the sale of books and CDs figure somewhere in there? Curious to know the kind of revenue generating investments they have...

Re: Avakyt Dadiji - Dadi Prakashmani's Death

Who are the two Sisters with their heads on God's ample bosom in the photo? It is Prakashmani and Ratanmohini? It is Prakashmani and Chandramani, two deceased one. I was in Madhuban this year when they celebrated the 10th anniversary of the death of Dadi Chandramani, the "Lioness of Punjab", with s...

Re: Why do BKs lose their friends?

Can BKs actually be "friends" with each other? Would that not be "attachment" and frowned upon? I do have some very good BK and non BK friends and I value friendship a lot. I do believe in true friendship free from attachment but no, I haven't reached that fully but I prefer to have friendships wit...

Is this what Prajapati means? I thought it was just another form of Prajapita (Father of the people/subjects).

Re: Official BKWSU internal reform efforts

Arjun could probably find a Murli quote but I remember it been said often times that at least 900,000 are required. Now it is not so clear as to how firm BKs those 900,000 have to be. If we are talking about pukha-pukha following all the principles accurately ... Well, I think we are still far from ...

Re: The 9/11 story

I know Ram Prakash and I had the opportunity to hear him telling his story more than once. He is a very optimistic and enthusiastic fellow and I have no doubt about the genuineness of his account. His long time practice of meditation and positive thinking must definitely have helped him to keep his ...
